After
using Attaché as a financial controller for
a small Australian company for four years, Michelle
started M&M accounting Services in July 1993 as
the support arm of another attaché dealership
at the time. This quickly grew into maja
solutions after expanding
to all facets of Attaché and
merging with another smaller Attaché dealership
in July 1995. Since February 1998, Michelle has solely
owned (well along with her husband Mark) maja
solutions as it grows
stronger and stronger. Her commitment to an extremely
high level of service is what has helped maja consolidate
its reputation in the Accounting Software Market. In
fact many of those customers that Michelle started
supporting way back in July 1993 are still strong clients
of maja as
their businesses have grown and expanded over the 15
years.
Michelle
has a bachelor of business in Accounting and took
a sub major in information technology. She is a CPA
and has been a CPA member for over 10 years. Michelle
is supported in her business endeavors by her husband
Mark and her four children: Aaron, Lachlan, Zoe and
Josh.

Kim
started at Maja in 1996, after her big sister (and
MD of maja solutions!) asked her to come in and answer
the phones for a couple of days per week. At that time
she was a Registered Nurse in a major public hospital
in Melbourne, on the Cardiac Transplant Team! She thought
this job sounded “low stress”, so she came
aboard. Since then, she has progressed to our Software
Manager. Kim looks after our new implementations and
projects, as well as writing a lot of our reports and
other programs, and in her spare time, doubles as our
Sales Manager. She has re-evaluated “low stress” now,
but has to remind herself occassionally that no-one
is on the operating table!
Many of you would know her voice (sounds a
lot like Michelle) and may have met her. Kim’s
high expectation and opinions of a service-based
company is reflected in her commitment to her
work. Her husband, Danny, and three kids Ben,
Lucy and Emma all support her!

Tina
has been with maja solutions for
since August 1993. Prior to joining maja,
Tina was an Assistant Branch Manager with one of the
major banks for 7 years. But Michelle recruited her
for her “people skills” and
anyone who has met Tina will agree that she is very
friendly, patient, and knows her stuff! She is one
of our core Consulting team members, and co-coordinates
our Training Courses.
Tina’s
husband, Matthew and her two kids – Mitchell
and Alisha take up all her other time! |

Antonietta
heads up our Administrative team. Michelle and Antonietta
were neighbours for many years, and again Michelle
saw the “right person” and asked her to
join us. She has been with maja since
August 2000 – joining
us after 6 years with a major (no, not maja!)
paper supplier. You’ll have heard from ‘Ant’ if
you’re a bit late paying your bills!! Of course,
she also answers the phone, looks after our Accounts
Payable and generally assists Michelle with the administrative
side of the business.
Antonietta
lives with her husband, Santo, and her extended family,
and spends a lot of time doing Italian things! Antonietta
is also studying Welfare and Community Development
Studies part time. |

Jardine
has been with maja solutions since
February 2005. She is part of our Administrative
team as well, and assists Kim with our web site.
She has worked in Administration in a past life ...
before kids and the rigour of full time motherhood!
Jardine is easing her way back into maja solutions life
after having a year off for the birth of her third
child Cooper. Cooper’s older brother
Jason, sister Kiara and his dad Wayne are helping
out at home so Jardine can get stuck back into work
life again!
